FAQ

Do I need to bring my own hat?

No - hats to current British Horse Society standards are provided in a variety of sizes and will be fitted individually to your child before riding.

My Child has never has any experience around horses, will it be safe?

Even the most placid and bomb proof ponies can unpredictable but we provide a safety briefing before the children come into contact with the ponies and they will be supervised at all times by our experienced team.

What should we wear?

As this is an outdoor activity and the British weather is always unpredictable, children should dress appropriately for the weather and we suggest bringing a coat if cold and or rain mac/jacket for wet weather. Party dresses will be ok but the children are encouraged to experience the outdoors and will be in contact with mud, paint etc so designer /expensive clothing may not ideal. With regards footwear full shoe/boot/wellie with a flat sole and a small heel. Strictly no flip flops or open toe sandals should be worn for safety reasons.

What if it rains?

Here at Raspberry Fields we embrace all that the British weather sends our way, the parties will still commence, even in rain and snow, activities will be slightly adjusted to suit the circumstance so we may decorate the ponies indoors if the weather is wet. In event of extreme weather for example very high winds, we will reserve the right to cancel – you will be given the option to re-book or have a refund in this instance.
