Mr Todd, or Toddie as we like to call him, is a native pony who comes from the Shetland Islands off the coast of Scotland. Shetland ponies are very hardy little ponies and are very strong for their tiny size! They are ‘good doers’ meaning they can live off very poor grazing and are able to withstand very cold temperatures in the winter time due to having a really thick furry coat.
Favourite things: Grass, apples and carrots
All of Mr Todds favourite things have to be restricted as Shetland ponies have a tendency to eat too much.
He really loves playing games and likes jumping over obstacles, pinching feed buckets and being brushed!
